Speedy BGA and Mobo cleaner

Somewhere in my distant mind i remembered seeing something similar to this far cheaper DIY alternative.
You will need:

1 x old style razor, the type that grandad used to use that takes razor blades, you DO NOT need the butterfly type, i got one off ebay for about 5 quid delivered.
1 x sheet silicon 1.5mm thickness in my example(again ebay a couple of quid), i reckon a 1mm sheet would suffice too.

take apart razor
Image

cut the silicon around the part that is between the handle and razor top, leave about 5mm overhanging the 2 long edges

pop a small guide hole dead centre of your silicon blade

Put the razor together

use it just like a squeegy on upto temperature BGA and Mobo, 2 - 3 swipes (around 5 seconds) and and its as smooth as a babies arse and no lifted pads,..

Any sign of a video on this ground breaking development. Looks awesome. Can't wait to see it in action.

anyone try this? I once used a qtip fooling around on a scrap board, used the qtip to move all the solder from the mobo out of the way into one corner, cleaned all the solder right off, still had to wick it to be safe but no pulled pads haha.
