CECHA no red light

Postby noodle1968 » Fri Jan 19, 2018 9:15 am

Hi everyone, just like the title says. I have a few CECHA boards here with no power. I've already tested the PSU, the power switch, and all fuses on the board. I was wondering if any of you have figured this out yet. Thanks

Hello!

It would be good to know, which motherboard is inside.
I think it should be COK-001. If so, do the following measurements.

Measure the voltages to ground on fuses TH4001 and TH4002. They are located near the button board connector.

The board is COK-001. The voltage for the two fuses show 0. 4001 should have 5v and 4002 should have 3.3

Measure the voltages to ground on pins 1 and 5 of IC6005 (highlighted on the following picture) it is located under the SYSCON chip (on the other side of the board).
If the voltages are 0V measure the resistances to ground.

I'm out of town now. I'll check it out when I get back next week. Thanks for the support.
