Postby mafioso3 » Tue Nov 10, 2015 2:15 pm

hi there

i have a CF360 bga rework station (chinafix) machine, yesterday the down heater stop heating, the pc410 seems working, leds lights, but no heating, tried to swap the two pid controller;and yet the down heater begin to work and heat,so the first one has bug in its firmware.
tried to search around the web looking for schema interface and pinout of the MCU sct90cxx,and i found a schema and pinout, but not the program to read and write the MCU 8051 family.

this failure is comun with this type of PID controler.

ask help for reprogramming this MCU.??

thnx in advance.

First thing I check whenever I get a customer with a issue like this is the relay nine times out of ten it's that , that has failed it's normally a 25amp one for bottom heat plates if you can open it up and run a profile the relay should have a green led flashing to.say it's doing its job if no light or solid it's normally not working

The relay he is referring to is the Solid Sate Relay, not a relay inside the PC410. He misunderstood what type of machine you have also.
Your machine appears to be a 3 zone with HR for top heater and HR for lower 3rd zone when I googled it. So, your bottom PC410 does
not control the lower IR plates, just bottom hot air. If you swapped the controllers and then your bottom HR starts working and top heater
changes from "working" to "not working", then you seem to have a bad controller. I don't know if your PC410 controllers are Altecs or just
"knock-offs". Probably not Altecs, which are more reliable that the clones are. If it's bad, then just buy a new "Altec" PC410 off Ebay for
$60 US shipped and be done with it. It will even have RS232 COM as well where the original bottom PC410 don't. That really won't help
you though unless you know how to mod your machine to utilize it.
