DIY Preheater (need advise)

Postby blackoutfolo » Fri Oct 16, 2015 12:09 pm

Hello everyone,

I would like to make a preheated station much like the Puhui T8280. It is essentially for components such mosfet tansistor etc. Not for BGA rework. I already have a station for Bga.
Before I would like to know if all these items are sufficient:

1- Digital PID Temperature Controller REX-C100 Thermostat + Max.40DA SSR Relay K Thermocouple Probe +

2- 2 or 3x 450W ceramic heating plate 80 * 80mm

3-May be 2x another Max.40DA SSR Relay

Am I right? do I need anything else?
Can Rex c-100 controller 3x ceramic heating plate?
Do I need 3 x Max.40DA SSR Relay or one is enough?

Sorry for my english

REX-C100 Thermostat will not allow you to set up profiles.
I think you need Altec

You do not need steps in a profile for a pre-heater... what you suggested is fine, just ensure you have the correct cables for wiring such as npc cable for the heaters and suitable cable for the rest.

Not sure why you would need 3 SSRS you only need one
