PC410 man mode

Postby spett » Sat Apr 25, 2015 12:49 pm

I'm struggling to get my PC410 controller into man mode. Is there any tricks ,or is it just because it's locked?
My machine is home made btw and got the controller from aliexpress.

99.5 percent are locked and can't go to manual mode.

Deusjevoo has an older Achi with a PC410 with some features unlocked, but IDK about manual mode. You would have to ask him.
Another guy I know bought an analog version straight from manufacture, but IDK if it has manual mode. Cost him quite a bit more
money to buy his from Altec than the locked one's sell on Ebay.

What are you trying to accomplish that you need manual mode for? You can pause profile if you need to hold temp at a certain spot.

Sorry about the "manual", I didn't mean running the controller really in manual set mode.
But more set a max temp, then run/pause/run/pause manual.
Like code says.

Original unlocked ones are I think 120$ + shipping.
There seem to be fake pc410's too.

Mine is indeed fully unlocked.

I dont really NEED man mode, just exploring every option, learning and trying to get better at reballing.

That makes sence Deusjevoo, just one step and it will actually start ramping from PCB temp regardless of what it is...

Thanks to both of you!

I actually just dissassembled my pc410 to look if i could read out the microcontroller and have a look at the program. But it uses a kind of 8051 controller, very easy to program but not easy to dump.. :-( well atleast i got a look inside lol
