Nice vid - I bought one of these off Karl, but not used it yet.

How often do you need to change the solution?

Does cleaning the chip with an ultrasonic cleaner really do any good, other than make it look pretty? I can understand ultrasonic cleaning a MB after a liquid spill to remove residue, but the BGA solder balls just have flux residue on them after being reballed. Wouldn't that residue just melt and blend with the new flux applied to the MB during attachment? Have you noticed any change in reliability of the solder bonds or anything else that makes ultrasonic cleaning worth the time and investment?

if flux is on topside of the BGA then this can cause popcorn, better to clean than not to clean imho.

Ultrasonic cleaners are just 1 option.

changing the fluid would depend on how much you use it, how dirty stuff is etc, when its dirty , change it lol
