Nudge test was always a nightmare for me but I remember james (I think) mentioning a chopstick in chat when I mentioned a toothpick. It stuck with me so I trimmed down the end of a wooden chopstick enough to fit between the nozzle and PCB but slightly higher than then bga, I rest it flat on the board and like Ronnie O'Sullivan I have full control of the cue action :D
It was either me or mark who said it.

I now use the little soldering tools off bgamods to nudge the top of the chip slightly downwards, i don't ever nudge them from the side unless i am lifting as i am too afraid of knocking it too hard.
