Hello,

whats yours experience with hot plate and reflow ovens? Which ones is better.
Hot plate like ht 1212 is cheaper but maybe add a little bit and buy T962A oven.

Any comments are welcome.

prob just me, but i think the oven is the better option. Better economic use of heat and power (less heat loss). Better for preheating boards to reduce moisture before bga work. The enclosed heat retention of ovens is best for most of the work involved with our type of work.
