Puhui T-8280

Postby Flashing360 » Sun Jun 17, 2012 7:27 pm

This T8280 uses advanced infrared component to preheating and PID intelligent control system to realize accuracy and efficiency.

T8280 infared preheating oven can be used widely both in leaded and lead free reworking especially for PCBA assembly with BGA ic chips.

No pcb deformation, no small component shift will happen during the reworking process because the infrared ray of T8280 is with strong penetration which can let the conponents get even.

T8280 is equipped with 1500w preheating system which can preheat 280*270mm area.

This is a great beginner preheater as it has a large IR preheat area which is easily sufficient for xbox 360 and laptop rework. Also the price is a key factor in making it perfect for people wishing to start reworking.

I use a T-8280, It's a Tank and becomes a very sensitive piece of kit with a C100 Mod :D

I even ran a leaded profile with only bottom heat on it once, I just wanted to see if it could be done, I ended up re-attaching 3 or 4 BGA chips in one swoop :D

(The Xbox Slim worked after but this is not recommended!!!)

garageinc wrote:if your doing rework without a preheater you are just inviting serious problems. fibreglass will naturally pull towards heat so to heat from only the top will cause board warp every time. so yes you really need one. i cant believe people still question this  like we all just bought it for no reason

relax tiger! Just a beginner trying to learn here....you were a beginner when you first started too....so be nice!

Well I personally Use an Aoyue 852A++ with a Puhui T-8280 for every rework i do...Still kicking myself i didn't get the 968 but i bought mine a long while ago... It's a great little setup and is perfect like Everyone was saying for beginning to learn Reworking. More then strong enough yet affordable at the same time. :+1: ;) I personally reball laptops, Ps3's and xbox 360 boards with this setup. No problems. You can even install a C100 Mod like others on here and have even more fun.
