I load up the stock profile from scotle examples, for lead free (Computer), start it, and just the bottom comes on. OUT2 is lit, OUT1 flashes some time.
SV and Step does not change. what´s happening ?

How long is your first step and what temp is it? Usually first step is set low and long enough to let bottom heat get your board to temp and no heat from
the top until step 2 kicks in. OUT2 is the output that turns on bottom heat. Anytime profile is running, that light should be lit constant.

ok, so I think everything is fine now, apart from tuning the profiles.
I recall I switched the wires on the start button, per schematic - start button is NO switch. turns out it has to be NC, and the program was always paused, did not notice the flashing RUN led. :D my bad.
also PID values were way off, maxed out. set everything to default, and machine works more or less fine.

thanks everyone for help!!

does anyone know where 2 extra wires going to the head are connected?

Did you figure out your extra two wires? Should 4 wires going to the top IR head. Neutral and high ACV wires to power the element, which
are obviously the one's hooked up or the element wouldn't be heating. The two "extra" wires you mentioned should be for the cooling fan
you turn on to cool the top heating element after you are done with rework process. 12v fan, so one will be 12vdc positive from the fan
switch and the other is the DC ground from the AC to DC transformer.

this is EU machine, so one neutral and one phase wire (that's 2 wires) and then 2 wires for fan. and then there are 2 extra, seems not connected on the head end. they have terminals on the body end, but forgot where they were connected.
confusing. :D

So the connector at the back of the machine where your top heater harness plugs in is a 6 terminal instead of a 4 terminal connector?
Should be a 4 terminal connector. IR head only needs what you have. HR head needs 6 because of the additional two wires for TC in
the HR head measuring airstream.

You have two more wires in the machine, but not in the harness for the IR head?
